My name is Paula Ortiz. I’m a Junior UX Designer based in New York City. My journey into this field might seem unconventional, given my background in Sociology from Universidad Central of Venezuela. However, my transition to visual and interaction design feels like a natural progression, fueled by a passion for understanding human behavior and translating it into intuitive digital experiences.

For the past 16 years, I've been immersed in the art of photography, building my own brand and capturing families through my lens. This experience has not only honed my eye for detail but has also cultivated a love for minimalism, cleanliness, boldness, and color – characteristics that define my design style.

My diverse background, coupled with a deep curiosity about people and their interactions with technology, naturally led me to explore User Experience (UX) design. Armed with my skills in social research and design, I bring a unique perspective to crafting digital solutions that are both visually captivating and highly functional.

In my work, I strive to create experiences that resonate with users on a profound level, seamlessly blending form and function to deliver meaningful interactions. Whether I'm sketching wireframes, crafting prototypes, or refining final designs, I approach each project with enthusiasm and dedication, aiming to exceed expectations and leave a lasting impression.
